Braces type and costs

Depending on the length of treatment braces can be an investment of $4-9k with Lingual braces being about 30% higher. Price will also vary depending on insurance.

What is unique about braces at Tisseront Orthodontics is that you can select any type of braces and achieve the same beautiful, healthy smile. The only difference between braces at our office is the way they look and how much they cost. Dr. Tisseront is the top Doctor in the country for Lingual braces, the only true invisible option for orthodontics.

Traditional metal braces – Made from stainless steel or titanium are held into place with wires and rubber bands.

Ceramic braces – Placed on the outside of teeth just like metal braces. Made from ceramic and held into places with wires and rubber bands. Less visible than traditional braces.

Lingual braces – Are braces placed behind your teeth, they are just as effective as traditional metal braces. The true invisible option of orthodontics. Check out Dr. Tisseront on mylingualbraces.com, a website that displays the top lingual doctors in the country.

Invisalign aligners – a series of clear, nearly invisible aligners that move your teeth gradually over time.

Ways to Pay for Braces Treatment

We accept all major credit cards, offer monthly payments plans and a courtesy if you would like to make payment in full. We will help you understand your financial options and find the best solution to fit your budget.

Monthly payment plans

We offer interest free payment plans to fit your needs. Dr. Tisseront’s philosophy is braces should be affordable for everyone and we are happy to offer flexible options.

Healthcare credit cards

Are a great way to pay for braces if you would like to extend your payment plans further out than the interest free plan we offer in house. Currently we work with CareCredit and they offer no down payment and monthly payment plans of up to 48 months. Our Treatment Coordinator can help you through the application process.

Medicaid or CHIP

We don’t accept at our office. I would leave this part out please.

Insurance and HSA/FSA Plans

Insurance coverage is different for everyone. Each dental plan has its own lifetime maximums and rules. Before your first appointment our team will gather all the information about your insurance so the Treatment Coordinator will be able to give you everything you need to know about your out-of-pocket expenses.

Most health insurance plans do not offer coverage for orthodontics.

HSA/FSA Plans are offered through your employer. They are a “savings plan” that generally let’s you set aside pre-taxed dollars for dental/medical expenses. They are a great way to help with the out of pocket expenses your insurance doesn’t cover. Our Financial Coordinator will be happy to help you find the best way to maximize these kinds of plans.

Can You Get Braces for Free?

While we see the rare insurance that will cover everything for braces, for most people braces are not free and are an investment. By aligning your teeth and correcting your bite not only do you get a beautiful smile you can prevent long term dental issues (such as wear/cracking of teeth) by moving your teeth and bite into a proper position.

Which is cheaper, Invisalign vs. Braces?

At Tisseront Orthodontics Invisalign and metal braces are often comparable in pricing. Contact us today for more information.
